THE PATRONS CUP
The year 1980 saw the introduction of an event that promised to become one of the highlights of the Western Australian Showjumping Calendar.
That event, the inaugral Western Australian Showjumping Associations Parton's Cup, was made possible by the generosity and foresight of two men, Laurie Connell, the then Patron and Michael Kailis, the president at the time.
Since the inaugural event we have been lucky to have many sponsors support our shows. Today we are indeed fortunate to have N. L. Tucker and Associates as the Patron of WASJA. We value the support that Susan and Wayne and their family provide for WASJA and hope that our association with N. L. Tucker will continue for many years
Since its beginning, the cup has been won by some of Australia's best riders and horses (including 17 from Western Australia). These winners are listed below.
