The Western Australian Showjumping Association was formed in 1957 and it was responsible for showjumping commencing in Western Australia.
Over the past years, the association has been instrumental in bringing to W.A many of Australias top showjumping horses and riders to compete in prestigious events such as the Patrons Cup.
Many of Australias top horses have been produced in Western Australia, in fact, one of our horses "Coalminer" competed in the showjumping team at Atlanta. At present we have several top horses competing in the Eastern states with tremendous success.The success that our horses and riders enjoy is due in part, to the competitive opportunity that we provide in W.A and we, as an association, are only able to conduct competitions such as the Patrons Cup and various championships classes due to the support received from sponsors.
